Terms & Conditions
1. Purpose of Donations
Donations made to the Trust will be utilised for the charitable, religious, spiritual or community‑welfare objectives as defined in the Trust deed. This may include (but is not limited to) temple construction/maintenance, ritual services, community outreach, cultural programmes, education, annadanam (food service), etc.
2. Voluntary Nature
All donors understand that their donation is voluntary, and no material benefit, guarantee or return (financial or otherwise) is promised in exchange, beyond the charitable recognition (if any) offered by the Trust.
3. Use of Funds
The Trust undertakes to use funds in a prudent, transparent manner consistent with its objectives. Surplus funds may be applied towards reserves or future projects in line with the Trust’s mission.
4. Tax‑Exemption / Deduction
If the Trust is registered under the relevant Acts (for example, under Indian law, Sections 12A/80G of the Income Tax Act) then donors may be eligible for tax deduction in India. The Trust will issue receipts or certificates accordingly.
5. Receipt and Acknowledgement
Upon making a donation, the donor will receive a receipt/acknowledgement which includes the trusts’ name, donation amount, donor name (if applicable), date and relevant registration/charity number of the Trust.
6. Refunds & Cancellation
- Since donations are voluntary and for charitable use, the Trust may not offer refunds, except in exceptional circumstances (for example, duplicate payment, or donation made in error).
- If a refund is to be made, it will be processed at the discretion of the Trust as per its internal policy and after due verification.
7. Donor Recognition
The Trust may acknowledge donors by listing their names (with their consent) on its website, in annual reports, on donor walls or similar. If a donor prefers anonymity, they should notify the Trust.
The Trust reserves the right to decline specific forms of recognition if they conflict with its values or objectives.
8. Privacy & Data
The Trust will collect limited donor information (such as name, contact details, PAN or tax ID where required) to issue receipts and satisfy regulatory requirements. The information will be held securely and not used for unrelated marketing without consent.
9. Amendments
The Trust may amend these terms & conditions from time to time. Major changes will be notified on the Trust’s website or to donors via email/newsletter.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the donation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the region where the Trust is registered.
